I have no experience with certs so I was wondering how can we get the vcloud director to work with self signed certificate. Currently I am getting the invalid certificate error.

Appreciate your help.

Mohit Mohithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16307035154228499666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4207094482219224019.post-78244105162710701822013-07-08T13:11:13.104+04:002013-07-08T13:11:13.104+04:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12307879712600349620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4207094482219224019.post-15271173909155273652013-03-13T11:43:05.943+04:002013-03-13T11:43:05.943+04:00Thanks ... I have the system organization working off of the group format now.

I'm not sure how to create the SAML connection for all of our other organizations though. I tried copying the system one from the DB but it's not complete and gives me an error page on load. I found a URL on how to connect it to an OpenAM SSO system. I may try to get it setup so I can see the SAML XML format and go from there.Eric Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03753563782571014570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4207094482219224019.post-57164048698116582192012-10-16T23:50:21.435+04:002012-10-16T23:50:21.435+04:001. It won't work if you import in UPN format (GroupName@DomainName). For example you need to import the group as System-Domain\TestGroup.

2. Regarding Documents, I don't have something specific. Only VMware KBs and blogs. But try to see my blogs about vCenter SSO. I added vCD admins via a group in SSO and was generating the error. Once I added the users individually it worked. Have you tested this yet?Eric Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03753563782571014570noreply@blogger.com
